Josh Lilley
Associate Attorney
Josh is an associate attorney at Lilley & O’Connell, P.A. Josh has spent his entire life in New Mexico and has grown up around criminal defense attorneys, which shaped his passion for becoming a trial attorney. In law school, Josh served as the student representative to the Border Initiative Project at the University of New Mexico School of Law to advocate for the rights of people detained under federal immigration law.
Throughout law school and as a practicing attorney, Josh has attended classes and seminars tailored to his passion for criminal defense, specifically representing individuals charged with death penalty eligible crimes and juveniles charged as adults for violent felonies. Josh has trial experience as a lead attorney and has experience working on federal murder cases, federal death-eligible offenses, federal appeals, and civil wrongful death and medical malpractice lawsuits.
In his free time, Josh enjoys running, competing in triathlons, camping, traveling, and golfing.
